WHY WAS IT EASIER IN THE PAST?

Have you considered the possibility that it may have been easier for a family to survive on one income in previous decades because people in general were satisfied with less and did not require as many things and luxuries to be happy, and it was easier to find a woman that wants to marry to love and be loved and be a homemaker and is not in love with money and possessions?
